26-27 MAINSTAGE SEASON
-

Fun Home
October 2-25
Directed by Troy WagemanBased on Alison Bechdel's landmark graphic memoir, Fun Home is a Tony Award-winning musical that moves between past and present as cartoonist Alison revisits her childhood in rural Pennsylvania — her father's obsession with restoring their gothic home, his emotional distance, his hidden life, and her own journey toward self-discovery. Funny, heartbreaking, and profoundly human, this intimate show explores the complicated love between a father and daughter and the stories families tell themselves to survive. (Some mature themes, recommended for teens and adults.)

Shrek The Musical
November 27 - December 20
Directed by Jessica LowOnce upon a time, a lovably grumpy ogre just wanted to be left alone in his swamp. Then a fast-talking donkey showed up. Then a feisty princess. And everything changed. Based on the beloved DreamWorks film, Shrek The Musical is a hilarious, heart-filled fairy tale adventure that turns every "happily ever after" trope on its head. With a score ranging from soaring Broadway ballads to laugh-out-loud comedy numbers, this is a show for every age — the kids who love the movies, and the adults who'll catch every wink. (Family friendly, recommended for everyone!)
-

In The Next Room
March 5 - 21
Directed by Dinah ManoffIt's the 1880s, electricity is the wonder of the age, and Dr. Givings has discovered a remarkable new treatment for his patients. They leave his office feeling considerably better. His wife wonders why. Sarah Ruhl's wickedly funny and surprisingly tender play peels back the propriety of the Victorian era to reveal the longing for connection humming just beneath the surface of even the most respectable households. Directed by the legendary Dinah Manoff, In the Next Room is a play about intimacy, marriage, and what it truly means to know another person. (Mature themes, recommended for older teens and adults.)
-

Unannounced Spring Musical
April 30 - May 23
Directed by Adam Othman*This musical is so newly available and so exciting that we’re not even allowed to announce the title until January of 2027! To give you an idea, this is the story about what happens when a singular moment stops the world, leaving thousands of strangers stranded in an unlikely place, and the community that opened its homes, and its hearts to them. It's a story about grief, grace, generosity, and the profound human connections that can be forged in the most unexpected circumstances. Trust us: this is one you’ll want to take a gander at. (Some mildly mature themes, recommended for ages 10 and up.)
