If your chosen class has sold out during a pre-sale period, there will be another opportunity at the time registration goes on sale to the public. If your chosen class has sold out after registration has gone on sale to the public, you may join our waitlist (which is effective and watched closely by the Theatre School Manager) by filling out our waitlist form which places all students in a waitlist queue. You will be notified if space becomes available and you will be granted access to our pre-sale window for for the next quarter.
-
Presale registration (typically around 3 days prior to public registration) is for students who are enrolled in the current quarter, or who have been waitlisted within the last quarter. During this time, 60% of our class spots are reserved exclusively for these students to support continuing education and to those who have been waitlisted. A few days before public registration, students will receive a private code to access presale registration. Sharing this password may result in cancellation of registration. The remaining spots are released at the date and time of public registration.

Local theatre artists and/or groups with project proposals that align with BPA’s values and mission of enriching the community through performing arts are encouraged to apply.

Projects should align with at least one of the Studio Series’ key goals:
To Support Artistic Development: Opportunities for local theatre makers to develop, refine, and present new productions.

Nonprofit Spotlight FAQ

The Nonprofit Spotlight program is an initiative developed by BPA that provides local nonprofits with an opportunity to engage with our audience, increase their visibility, and promote their mission. Through this program, we aim to support these organizations and make a positive impact in the community.
-
As a Nonprofit Spotlight partner, your organization will receive:
A dedicated table in the lobby during one or more performances, where you can promote your cause and engage with our patrons.

Placement in the show program, including your logo and a paragraph introducing your mission.
Distribution of your materials on lobby tables throughout the performance run.
A social media feature to boost awareness of your organization’s work.
Two complimentary tickets to see a performance, with discounted tickets for additional guests.
Two BPA Tumblers and two non-alcohol concession vouchers as a token of our appreciation.
-
There is currently no application system for our NPS program as organizations are recommended and chosen by our staff based on their thematic match to the production such as Bainbridge Pride for The Prom because of the focus on LGBTQ rights, or Bainbridge Prepares for Urinetown because of the focus on a future where water is a limited resource.

By partnering with BPA, your organization will gain exposure to our diverse audience, increase engagement with the local community, and raise awareness of your mission. It’s a unique opportunity to connect with new supporters while collaborating with a respected arts organization.
-
Your organization will be featured for the duration of the show run, which could be multiple weeks depending on the performance schedule. The period begins at the end of the previous production and runs through the final performance.
