BSO AUDITIONS

The Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra is currently holding auditions for all instruments by appointment.

The Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra (BSO) is a community orchestra based in Bainbridge Island, WA. We rehearse weekly on Wednesday evenings and perform four full-orchestra concerts a year at the newly-renovated Buxton Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Bainbridge Island (walking distance to the Seattle ferry). Our mission is to prepare and present a diverse range of orchestral compositions and to foster a culture of community engagement, friendship, collaboration, and musical excellence.

Anyone wishing to audition should prepare 3 - 5 minutes of music from a solo piece of your choice (does not have to be memorized), and 1 or 2 short excerpts for your instrument(s) from repertoire we will be performing this season; these excerpts will be provided after you submit the form below. You may also be asked to sight-read a short passage.
