Join us at BPA for West Sound Crime Con's inaugural event! Co-hosted by Liberty Bay Books and Bainbridge Performing Arts, this special event will take place on August 1 at Bainbridge Performing Arts (200 Madison Ave N, Bainbridge Island, WA).

Renowned crime writer, Gregg Olsen, will be celebrating the release of his new true crime book, Out of the Woods. Gregg will be in conversation with another renowned local author, Andrea Dunlop

Each Ticket comes with either a hardback or paperback copy of Out of the Woods. You can purchase additional books and they will be waiting for you at the event. Additional books will also be available for sale at the event. 

Gregg Olsen, an impassioned voice for victims and their families, has been a guest on Dateline, 48 Hours, 2020, William Shatner's Aftermath, Deadly Women, Good Morning America, CBS Morning News, Today, FOX News, CNN, Anderson Cooper, MSNBC, Entertainment Tonight, Snapped, Forensic Files, Inside Edition, Nancy Grace, Extra, Access Hollywood, NPR with Scott Simon and Biography among dozens of other shows. Olsen's true crime book, If You Tell, was Amazon's bestselling ebook for 2020. Notorious USA is Olsen's exclusive platform for true crime and crime fiction fans dying to be in the know. Olsen, a Seattle native, lives in Olalla, Washington with his wife, twin daughters, three chickens, Milo (an obedience school dropout cocker spaniel) and Suri (a mini dachshund so spoiled she wears a sweater).

Andrea Dunlop is an author and podcaster with two decades of experience in book publishing. Her books have been featured in Town & Country, Bustle, InStyle, US Weekly, Vanity Fair, People, ABC Live and elsewhere. Andrea is host and creator of the popular true crime investigative podcast about Munchausen by Proxy: Nobody Should Believe Me, which was a New & Noteworthy pick for Apple’s Dark Side collection. Her non-fiction book, The Mother Next Door, was published by St. Martin’s Press. She is a member of the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children’s Munchausen by Proxy Committee and is the founder of Munchausen Support which is dedicated to providing resources for frontline professionals, families, and survivors dealing with MBP. She lives in Seattle, WA with her husband and two children.

This event is appropriate for ages 16 and up.
