Top 10 Things To Do At BPA This April!

Spring is in the air and big things are happening at BPA!

Here’s a quick breakdown of what BPA has in store for you this month!

The Edge Improv: April Fools! - April 1st @ 7:30 pm

It wouldn’t be April Fools’ day without a little comedy and what better team than our very own Edge Improv to kick off the new month in a big way.

BPA Returns to the Bainbridge Island Farmers’ Market! - April 1st

If you’re out at the market, stop by our booth to say hello, purchase tickets, learn about our major renovation, and maybe pickup a little BPA swag!

Season Tickets for 2023/2024 on Sale! - April 1st

As if we couldn’t squeeze any more into April 1st, that’s also the day Season Tickets go on sale to the general public! Grab yours quick before they sell out! Single-show tickets will go on sale this June.

Theatre School Summer Registration - Ongoing

View our upcoming classes and register your kiddos (or yourself!) for one of our many available classes. But don’t wait, these fill up quickly.

Kate Hamill’s “Pride & Prejudice” April 21-30th

This will be our last Mainstage show inside Theater 3 at Bainbridge Cinemas before we head to The Bloedel Reserve for Shakespeare’s The Tempest, then we’ll be home this fall in the new Buxton Center for BPA! This show is not your usual Jane Austen and will have you laughing from start to finish.

An Evening with Poet Laureate Billy Collins - April 29th

Join us for an evening with former two-time Poet Laureate of the United States Billy Collins as he takes the stage for his first Pacific Northwest event in over five years. After the reading, guests who purchase a “Golden Circle” ticket will move from Bainbridge High School down to the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art for a special reception with wine and dessert. All proceeds from this event will support the campaign for the new Buxton Center.

Capital Campaign Progress - Ongoing

April brings us one month closer to our homecoming this fall, but we’re still seeking the last 3.8% left to raise. We’re asking everyone we can to make a tax-deductible gift to help us complete the project. The Bux Starts with You.

Buxton Center Tours - Ongoing weekly

Speaking of the new Buxton Center - did you know you can take a tour of the building while it’s being built?

That’s right! Tours are available weekly for anyone interested and is a great way to see how we’re putting our community’s donations to good use.

Interested in volunteering at BPA?

We’re looking for volunteers of all kinds to rejoin our crew as we ramp back up to full speed. Whether it’s costumes or carpentry, ushering or artistry, we’d love to hear from you.

Bonus!

We’ll soon be launching our search for our next Music Director for the Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra. We hope you’ll help us spread the word to the music community! Details will be available at bainbridgeperformingarts.org/careers when the search begins.
