Ages 12 - 19: Teen Lab - Winter One Acts

This is an "Audition In" class. Auditions are by appointment on December 14 between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

This acting intensive is designed for committed teen performers. While students as young as 12 are admitted, younger students should consider whether they are willing and able to put in the work and focus required to keep up with more experienced peers. Students will work with Amanda and Pete, learning how to break down a script to find their character’s backstory, motivations, objectives, tactics, and obstacles. Students will explore a variety of acting methods and styles through a series of intensive exercises, improv games, culminating in a performance of two One-Act comedic plays in a black box setting.
