This acting intensive is designed for committed teen performers. While students as young as 6th grade are admitted, younger students should consider whether they are willing and able to put in the work and focus required to keep up with more experienced peers. Students will work with Ann, and Pete, learning how to break down a script to find their character’s backstory, motivations, and active tactics they can use to get what their character wants. Students will explore a variety of acting methods and styles through a series of intensive exercises, improv games, culminating in a performance of two One-Act plays in a black box setting.
Students under the age of 16 must be signed out by a parent unless BPA has a self-signout release for your child.
