Andre Feriante and The Bohemian Entourage offer a very unique and compelling sound to the concert stage. You will hear original Spanish influenced music combined with Bach, Leonard Cohen, jazz standards, East Indian rhythms played with Feriante's creative banjo and ukulele techniques, fiery South American songs, early music and improvisations on the Beatles. Improvisation, humor and storytelling are a big part of the concept of the Entourage. The group comprises an amazing pool of talent from many different cultural roots. ANDRE FERIANTE - Spanish Guitar & Ukulele Virtuoso

Beginning with his first concert in Rome in 1979, Seattle-based, award winning, Segovia-trained guitar artist/composer Andre Feriante has performed for over three decades in Europe, S. America and throughout the U.S., bringing his sensual, contemporary blend of classical, flamenco and Brazilian styles to people from all walks of life. In recent years' performances, and with his latest albums 'Beatles Masquerade' and 'Novella, Ukulele Mosaique', Feriante has garnered rave reviews for applying his innovative approach and guitar mastery to rare instruments such as custom ukuleles and the nylon stringed banjo. Feriante's concerts promise inspiring musical journeys with original music, classical and jazz standards, vocals in Italian, and poetry over guitar.

Feriante’s eleven albums have consistently charted within the top 10, and his album, Bohemian Boulevard, debuted at No. 1 on the world and ambient radio charts. It remained in the top 20 for five months and then went on to win “Best World Album” in the New Age Reporter’s 2006 Lifestyle Awards.

Stella Rossi - Neo flamenco dance, guitar and vocals
Originally from Asuncion, Paraguay, Stella Rossi started her artistic career at the young age of 3. She studied at one of the most important Art Schools in Paraguay were she graduated with a Master’s Degree. At the age of 15 she was chosen to join the National Ballet Folklorico Municipal of Asuncion, Paraguay and became principal dancer. With this Ballet Company she represented her country as an ambassador of the Paraguayan culture in several International Festivals around the world. She initiated her professional singing career as a soprano with the choral group “ Marandu” in Asuncion, developing then through the years as a singer and guitarist with several bands throughout the US as well as in Europe. Anil Prasad - World Fusion Tabla and cajon
Anil Prasad began playing percussion at the age of seven, and accompanied his mother, Prabha Devi, a famous Indian vocalist and sitar player. He was recruited to the Husky Drumline out of high school and became the Husky Drumline section leader for two consecutive years. Anil is a student of tabla masters, Tor Dietrichson, Ustad Akram Khan, and Ustad Zakir Hussain and records and performs with many western, world music, and Indian groups in Seattle and beyond including sitar master, Pandit Debi Prasad Chatterjee.

Special Guest Performer Clipper Anderson - Bass
Bassist Clipper Anderson is a musician who defies labels. Equally comfortable with straight-ahead, traditional, free jazz or bebop, he plays with genuine reverence for the music and an unassuming mastery that speaks for itself. He is a virtuosic improviser, known for creating intelligent lines, which are often executed with stunning speed and precision. He is the quintessential support player who steadily holds the pocket and creates a solid foundation for whomever he shares the bandstand with. He is also a well-respected vocalist. Earshot Jazz has aptly described Clipper as “a player for the connoisseur to savor,” and rightly so.

Clipper’s musical resume is as impressive as it is deep. He has played with a long list of jazz greats including Michael Brecker, Arturo Sandoval, Dave Samuels, Peter Erskine, Bruce Forman, Tamir Hendelman, Bob Mintzer, Lew Soloff, Bucky Pizzarelli, Benny Golson, Paquito D’Rivera, Phil Woods and Buddy DeFranco. He performs at jazz festivals throughout the U.S. and Canada and has appeared at the Highland Jazz Festival, the Port Townsend Jazz Festival and the Crown of the Continent Guitar Foundation Jazz Festival. He is also a featured artist, annually, at the Buddy DeFranco/University of Montana Jazz Festival and the Blaine Jazz Festival. As a session musician, Clipper has played on numerous projects. He has recorded five CDs with Northwest vocal icon Greta Matassa, including their critically acclaimed holiday CD “To All a Good Night.” This recording was also Clipper’s first outing as a producer. With his new CD “The Road Home,” on Origin Records Clipper makes his debut as a solo artist and composer. This 11-song disc is a thoughtfully crafted collection that reflects his influences and pays homage to his mentors. The CD quickly rose and held the number 20-22 spot on the national jazz radio charts for several months. Clipper is presently on the jazz faculty at Pacific Lutheran University.
