SIDE BY SIDE BY SONDHEIM Trailer by Northwest Films
Join us for a swanky, swinging 1960’s evening at the engagement party of a young couple and their eclectic group of friends set to the iconic music of Stephen Sondheim. SIDE BY SIDE BY SONDHEIM includes some of Sondheim's finest work: “Getting Married Today,” Comedy Tonight,” “Broadway Baby,” “Send in the Clowns,” Losing My Mind,” and of course “Side By Side.” Directed by BPA Resident Musical Director Josh Anderson, BPA’s production is part review, part fully staged musical featuring BPA favorites and exciting new talent: Emily Kight, James Sgambati, Paula Elliot, Mike Loudon, Barbara Hume, Brian Pucheu, Kylee Gano, Jasmine Joshua, Dan Engelhard, and Elizabeth Faye.
Anderson is thrilled to introduce BPA’s production, saying, “Sondheim is the unrivaled master of lyrical wit and musical wisdom and in this new presentation of his material, Sondheim’s guiding themes of love, marriage, aging, and the artistic process are superbly illustrated.” He continues, “BPA audience members have come to expect sublime music and heartfelt comedy, and in this show, they will get both and then some!”
