Katharine Beddoe

Katharine Beddoe is excited to join the BPA Education team and to meet her new students! She has a passion for theatre ed, not only for teaching performance technique, but for the communication skills we can learn through performance and play. Katie has taught theatre at Camp CSTOCK (2013- 15) and collaborated for theatrical performances with her peers at the college level. She is currently finishing her MDS degree in Artistic Communications through Western Washington University, but has also studied theatre and English through Whitworth University in Spokane. Her favorite performance credits in higher education include Mrs. Smith in The Bald Soprano, the Duchess of York in Richard III, and Mrs. Bennet in Jon Jory's Pride and Prejudice. In high school, she would've been seen in over two dozen shows around Kitsap County and a workshop performance of The Baker's Wife in Into the Woods with 5th Avenue's education program. All of these experiences have made her eager to get back into Kitsap's theatre community, and she is especially excited to meet YOU in the next class session!
