Ann Wilkinson Ellis
ANN WILKINSON ELLIS (DIRECTOR) For more than 30 years, Ann has donned the well-worn hats of acting and producing, and she is pleased to add a third, making her BPA directorial debut with A.R. Gurney’s "LOVE LETTERS." As an actor, she has appeared in "Private Eyes," "It’s A Wonderful Life," and "The Vagina Monologues" at BPA. Ann produced the award-winning independent film "Farewell to Harry," the inspirational CD "Still With Thee," and the BPA Gallery exhibit, "Grey Matters – All Things Elephant," which featured her poetry in collaboration with her husband John Ellis’s drawings, mixed media, and prints.
Ann studied theatre and songwriting in New York City with The Ensemble Studio Theatre, Suzanne Shepherd, and The Barrow Group. She is the busy mother of creative acts, Harrison and Nobelle, and she plans to direct an original play next spring/summer featuring Bainbridge Island’s talented youth. (To be announced!)
Bring your fountain pens and hearts to BPA in February 2016!
