Amanda Yeoman Brooke

Amanda Yeoman Brooke is thrilled to collaborate with BPA! She is excited to come onboard and share her knowledge and experience to help others grow to the best actor they can be. She loves being real, vulnerable and to find the humor in most scripts--and wants to encourage others to do so as well. Amanda is a committed professional Seattle Actor. She received her BFA degree from the University of Washington in 2011 (with an emphasis on acting for the stage, camera, screenwriting, studying various methods and playwrights, including a focus on Shakespeare.) Her and her husband lived in L.A. for a short while to learn about that industry, but realized the PNW is where they wanted to raise a family. Now a mother of two under five, Amanda’s been able to maintain continuous, extensive, intensive training, (specifically with Tony Doupé, Megan Rosenfeld- CSA, Mighty Tripod Productions, and other mentors from various workshops). Amanda has ongoing auditions (for corporate, commercial, short film, feature length films) while also occasionally creating shorts, entering film festivals/ film races, and doing voiceover work (usually for and with Plaid Shirt Productions, which happens to be a team of her husband and best friend). She is currently represented by Big FIsh NW Agency, and has been for the past decade.

She previously taught Acting for the Camera to teenagers in 2015-16 over at Whidbey Island Center for the Arts.  It resulted in a polished short film they premiered to the community and was entered into the National Film Festival for Talented Youth.
