Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra 50th Anniversary Concert - September 22 & 23
The Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra returns for a special 50th anniversary concert outdoors at The Manor House featuring romantic works by Strauss, Bizet, Tchaikovsky, and more. Join us for this two-night engagement in such a beautiful setting with guest conductor Gabriela Garza!
Gabriela is a Mexican conductor living in the United States of America. Currently on her second season as Music Director of the Poulsbo Community Orchestra, she is constantly seeking to engage and inspire the community by presenting well-rounded performances that intertwine with other realms of the arts.
In 2021, Ms. Garza was appointed Manager of the Seattle Conservatory of Music and Artistic Associate of the Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestra, a program in which she had previously collaborated as assistant conductor.
Ms. Garza is a 5th year doctoral candidate in orchestral conducting at the University of Washington (UW), in where she has studied under the mentorship of David Alexander Rahbee. From September 2017 up to June 2020 she served as co-conductor of the UW Campus Philharmonia Orchestras and assistant conductor of the UW Symphony Orchestra. Additionally, Ms. Garza has been an active conductor within Washington state, having served as assistant conductor of the Whidbey Island Orchestra for three consecutive years, as well as having guest conducting appearances with the Seattle Collaborative Orchestra, the Sammamish Symphony Orchestra, and more.
