BPA Theatre School Fall Play Fest is November 15 & 16
BPA Theatre School presents
Fall Play Fest
November 15 & 16: Thursday & Friday @ 7:00 p.m.
at Bainbridge Performing Arts
See three shows for one ticket at BPA Theatre School’s annual extravaganza, a family-friendly event showcasing talented students in the Fall Play Fest, which runs in November each fall.
Our 2nd – 4th grade production of War of the Worlds finds a new center of the universe right here on Bainbridge Island. Will Old Lady Wilmuth’s lost chickens ever be found? Will Orson Wells break open the science behind the fidget spinner? Will mankind be saved by the luscious sounds of Space Disco? Tune in your radios and head to BPA for the Fall Play Fest to find out.
Blazing World is here to blaze trails and build confident, capable actors! In this work our 5th – 8th grade students have fashioned a wonderfully diverse world of characters and dispositions, with each actor wearing, quite literally, many hats. You won’t want to miss this zoological cornucopia!
Our 5th – 10th grade Musical Theatre students round out the performance in their first ever musical theatre intensive collaboration. The students were mentored by two “Rees(c)es” who are more than peanut butter cups: Acclaimed international singer and actress Stephanie Reese made her BPA teaching debut this fall, and Reece Sauvé is widely regarded for his work as a musical theatre director, pianist, vocalist, actor, and music teacher for all ages. As a dynamic duo, these “Rees(c)es” helped the students craft a work that is more than just pieces.
