BPA Gallery First Friday Art Walk July 7: “Island Light”
BPA Gallery First Friday Art Walk: “Island Light”
Digitally Enhanced Photography by Tom Martin
First Friday Art Walk: July 7 @ 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Exhibit continues throughout June at Bainbridge Performing Arts (BPA)
Join us in the BPA Gallery July 7 for an artist reception and a fanciful evening of art, food, and friends. Tom Martin is a Bainbridge Island artist that uses photography to create conceptual artwork, which is based on everyday life and objects. His works can appear as dreamlike images in which fiction and reality meet, meanings shift, and past and present fuse. The end result sometimes radiates a cold, latent violence…and at times, a disconcerting beauty emerges. Tom incorporates a wide variety of tools to include everything from brushed acrylic overlays, digital brush work, color modification, and compositing to achieve a final variation of the original image. View Tom’s work online at www.finegrainart.com.

Keith Birkenfeld Lobby and regularly participates in the First Friday Art Walk from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Gallery hours are 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. Tuesday – Friday plus one hour prior to each performance.
