BPA announces auditions for BIG FISH are January 7 & 10
BPA AUDITIONS for BIG FISH
Saturday, January 7 @ 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. & Tuesday, January 10 @ 6:30 – 9:00 p.m.
at Bainbridge Performing Arts (BPA)
Bainbridge Performing Arts is pleased to announce AUDITIONS for BIG FISH, January 7 and 10 at BPA. Overflowing with heart, humor, and spectacular stagecraft, BIG FISH is an extraordinary new Broadway musical featuring music and lyrics by Tony nominee Andrew Lippa (The Addams Family, The Wild Party) and a new book by esteemed screenwriter John August (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory).
Run dates are May 12, 13, 14, 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, and 28, with a Pay-What-You-Can Preview May 11. Rehearsals are March 14 through May 10: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays @ 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. plus Saturdays @ 11:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
BIG FISH includes roles for 12-16 men, ages 16 and up, 10-16 women, ages 14 and up, and one boy, age 8-12. Those auditioning are requested to prepare a one-two minute monologue and 32 bars of a contemporary musical theatre piece. An accompanist will be provided but those auditioning must bring sheet music – clearly marked and in a three-ring binder. Please - no outside accompanists or acapella singing.
