BPA Auditions for IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE are September 26

September 26: Thursday @ 6:30 - 9:00 p.m.

Bainbridge Performing Arts is excited to announce audition dates for IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE: A LIVE RADIO PLAY, adapted and directed by Frank Buxton, and running December 7, 14 and 21. Auditions are Thursday, September 26 at BPA.

This family-friendly holiday production brings new meaning and sounds to the heartwarming story of good will and cheer. A new take on a timeless classic just like you heard it in 1947!

BPA is seeking 10-12 voice actors to play a variety of characters. This is a staged production so all voice actors should be comfortable in a fully theatrical show. A complete listing of characters is available online at www.bainbridgeperformingarts.org/collections/auditions.

Auditions are by appointment only, and interested parties are requested to email dhadlock@bainbridgeperformingarts.org to make an appointment. The rehearsal period will begin Sundays in November - 11/3, 11/10, 11/17 (time TBA) with Tech on December 1 at 6:00 - 10:00 p.m. and a dress rehearsal December 7 at 2:00 - 3:30 p.m. Run dates are December 7, 14 and 21, 2013, Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. Those auditioning should be prepared to do a cold read from the script and spend a few minutes talking with the director at their audition. There is no need for a memorized monologue. Participants are requested to bring a headshot or a current picture to the audition.

Corporate Sponsor for IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE is The Maggi Rogers Fund, and Media Sponsor is KUOW 94.9 FM Public Radio. BPA is supported, in part, by Bainbridge Community Foundation and One Call for All. We are pleased to support Helpline House as our Special Community Partner.
