Mr. Anderson & Friends: A Going Away Spectacular, June 11 at BPA
Mr. Anderson & Friends: A Going Away Spectacular
Saturday, June 11 at 7:30 p.m.
Join us in wishing Bainbridge Performing Arts’ Resident Music Director Josh Anderson a fond farewell as he leaves Seattle to move out to Minneapolis. A composer, arranger, playwright, vocal coach, music teacher, and consultant, Josh is wildly enthusiastic about the ability of musical theatre to both draw a community together and entertain. For BPA, he has provided music direction for Amadeus, Mary Poppins, Hair, The Drowsy Chaperone, Side by Side by Sondheim, Monty Python’s Spamalot, Little Shop of Horrors, Avenue Q, Shrek, and the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and he’s up next with Disney’s The Little Mermaid, which opens May 13.
Featuring some of BPA’s finest performers, the evening will include music, merriment, and memories – including hits from the past four years of BPA Mainstage shows. The cast includes Joanna Hardie, Jasmine Joshua, Kylee Gano, Rebecca Lane, Colleen Gillon, James Sgambati-O’Donnell, Ryan Sgambati-O’Donnell, Michelle Abad, Jalyn Green, Emily Kight, Shannon Dowling, Ellen Dessler, Gregory Conn, Luke Walker, Justin Lynn, Jesse Smith, Ryan Bohannon, Kayla Teel, Olivia Lee, Brian Pucheu, Paula Elliot, and Ken Michels. Backed by the BPA Mainstage Band, Josh and friends will tug at your heartstrings, celebrate our talented community, and make you laugh.
Tickets are pay-what-you-can with proceeds benefiting Josh’s move at www.gofundme.com/jdampls.
