Emily Kight

Emily Kight is a former student of BPA Theatre School and couldn’t be happier to return now as a teaching artist. A transplant to the island in ’95, Emily considers BPA her second home. She now lives in Seattle and has worked on and off stage with Village Theatre, ACT, Sound Theatre Company, Balagan, Contemporary Classics, Seattle Musical Theater, Driftwood Players, Oh Hello Productions, the Multicultural Outreach Tour (M.O.T.ley Crew) and of course, Bainbridge Performing Arts. Her onstage credits for BPA include Lily Lilacblossom in Harry Tracy, Usherette in The Producers, Rumpleteazer in CATS, and Princess Fiona in Shrek: The Musical. She has also costumed several shows including Sweeney Todd for the theatre school, and The Producers, Peter Pan, The Outsiders, and as an assistant on Hansel and Gretel all for the mainstage. Emily holds a degree in Theatre Arts from Western Washington University with a concentration in acting and training in theatre education and stage management.
