The concluding program in BPA’s 2012-2013 Chamber Music series glorifies the literary art forms that move composers to their own personal vision and interpretation of the written word. The program includes works by Paul de Wailly, Arthur Woodbury, Antonin Dvořák, Robert Sibbing, Benjamin Britten, Claude Debussy, Robert Schumann, Erik Satie, and Bohuslav Martinů.
Featured performers are Patricia Beasley (clarinet), Samuel Brodsky (piano), Suzanne Burton (flute), Amy Duerr-Day (oboe), Jonathan Graber (violin/viola), James Quitslund (piano), Karen Sorenson (violin), Paige Stockley ('cello), and Patricia Strange (violin).Patricia Beasley and Amy Duerr-Day moderate the series, which showcases talented artists of all ages in an accessible and inviting format.
