BPA THEATRE, MAINSTAGE BAND & BAINBRIDGE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA AUDITIONS
MAINSTAGE ACTOR AUDITION REQUIREMENTS: Auditions for our Mainstage productions will be held throughout the season. Those auditioning should prepare a one-two minute monologue and, for a musical: 32 bars of a contemporary musical theatre piece. An accompanist will be provided but those auditioning must bring sheet music – clearly marked and in a three-ring binder. Please - no outside accompanists or acapella singing. MAINSTAGE BAND AUDITION REQUIREMENTS: Please prepare a solo selection of 16-32 bars, preferably from musical theatre, for your primary instrument. Doubling and tripling are quite common, so feel free to bring a selection in a secondary instrument as time permits. In addition, when you schedule your appointment you will receive a short selection to present with our provided accompanist. Each contracted position includes a stipend. BAINBRIDGE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA AUDITION REQUIREMENTS: Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra (BSO) auditions are held annually in the late summer. Parties interested in participating in BSO AUDITIONS are urged to contact BSO Manager Clara Hanson to arrange an audition time.
All auditions are at Bainbridge Performing Arts, 200 Madison Avenue North, Bainbridge Island.
