Bainbridge Performing Arts (BPA) is looking for energetic, customer service-oriented personnel to oversee the overall experience of our patrons. The Front of House Managers work closely with the Operations Manager to maintain the mission and integrity of Bainbridge Performing Arts. Front of House Managers are responsible for the operation of all Front of House areas (lobby, auditorium, kitchen, box office, and other public areas). This shared position encompasses bar/concession management, box office operations for performances, patron assistance, and on-site volunteer management during BPA’s busy schedule of events.

A warm, welcoming, can-do customer service attitude is a must. The successful candidate(s) will hold a post-secondary education diploma or certificate, have experience with volunteers and practical knowledge of the theatre environment, be attentive to detail and have a commitment to accuracy and follow-through, maintain excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills, possess strong organizational, record keeping, and management skills and have the ability to multi-task in a busy environment with many disruptions. First Aid training and CPR are preferred, and MAST Certification is required prior to concessions work (at company expense).

The successful candidate(s) will help to maintain current momentum and will continue to grow and shape BPA’s stature in the community. Contenders must be able to lift 50 lbs and physically assist patrons. This shared flexible part-time position is up to 15 hours per week on a rotating schedule. Weekend, evening, and/or split shifts are essential to success in this role. Preference will be given to qualified local candidates.

Bainbridge Performing Arts (BPA) is a non-profit community performing arts center whose team of theatre professionals works with volunteer cast members from Bainbridge, Kitsap, Seattle, and beyond to produce professional-quality, vigorously-supported, and enthusiastically-attended shows in our 245-seat facility. We produce six Mainstage shows a year, including a summer Shakespeare production at nearby Bloedel Reserve. BPA also houses The Edge Improv, Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra, and BPA Theatre School for children, teenagers, and adults.
