Bainbridge Dance Center's 34th Annual Student Performance
June 23 – 27: Tuesday - Saturday @ 7:00 p.m. + Saturday @ 2:00 p.m.
At Bainbridge Performing Arts
Don’t miss Bainbridge Dance Center’s 34th Annual Student Performance and celebration. Six great performances showcase more than 130 students, ages 4-18. The youngest students demonstrate pre-technique movement, while beginning through advanced students perform choreography in ballet, modern, jazz, and tap techniques. Choreography for these students is thoughtfully created by BDC’s faculty members. The BDC Advanced Ballet Repertory will present a new ballet suite for the 2015 performances. A re-envisioned “Giselle Suite” includes the joys of a peasant village and the mystery of the Wilies forest. The choreography molded by BDC faculty Karena Birk and Taylor Augustine, was created through referencing the work of Marius Petipa. Please join Bainbridge Dance Center for its annual celebration.
Bainbridge Dance Center has been in continuous operation since its opening season in 1981 and has blossomed into a program offering dancers a high level of technical training as well as a life-long love for the art of dance. Visit BDC online at www.bainbridgedancecenter.com.
