Don't miss "James and the Giant Peach, Jr." July 28 - 30 at BPA

Aberown Studio presents BPA Theatre School’s production of
July 28 – 30: Thursday – Saturday @ 7:00 p.m. + Saturday @ 3:00 p.m.
At Bainbridge Performing Arts (BPA)

Based on one of Roald Dahl’s most poignantly quirky stories, Roald Dahl’s JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH, JR. is a brand new take on this “masterpeach” of a tale. Featuring a wickedly tuneful score and a witty and charming book, this adventurous musical about courage and self-discovery will charm audience members of all ages.

When James is sent by his conniving aunts to chop down their old fruit tree, he discovers a magic potion that grows a tremendous peach, which rolls into the ocean and launches a journey of enormous proportions. James befriends a collection of singing insects that ride the giant piece of fruit across the ocean, where they face hunger, sharks, and plenty of disagreements along the way.

Victoria Whitlow Tuttle, who was BPA’s Director of Education from 2011 – 2013, returns this summer as BPA’s Interim Director of Education during Zandi Carlson’s leave of absence. She is joined by Musical Director Michelle Abad and Choreographer Heather Dawson to direct this tasty peach of a production, which showcases an enthusiastic cast of veteran and novice 4th – 10th grade BPA thespians.
