Leah Deobald, piano, claims 1st Place in the BSO’s 2016 Young Artist Concerto Competition

Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra is pleased to announce the 1st Place Winner of the BSO’s 2016 Young Artist Concerto Competition – Leah Deobald, piano, who performed Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 3 in C minor, op. 37, 1st movement. Adrian Steele, violin, was awarded 2nd Place for performance of Sibelius’ Violin Concerto, 1st movement, and Kyran Adams, piano, was awarded 3rd Place for performance of Liszt’s Hungarian Fantasy. Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra Music Director Wesley Schulz congratulates all participants in the BSO’s 2016 Young Artist Concerto Competition, saying, “It takes hundreds of hours, and months of dedication, stamina, and endurance to prepare for and participate in a competition such as ours.” Read more.
