July BPA Gallery: "Modern Takes On Traditional Quilts"

July BPA Gallery: "Modern Takes On Traditional Quilts"
An exhibit by the Bainbridge Island Modern Quilt Guild
First Friday Art Walk: Friday, July 1 @ 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.; Exhibit runs throughout July

Join us in the BPA Gallery for an artist reception and a fun evening of art, food, and friends. This special showing by the Bainbridge Island Modern Quilt Guild features 22 original quilts. Choosing different traditional block patterns, contributing quilters created their interpretive modern quilts. Modern quilts reflect a modern design aesthetic, often inspired by classic quilt blocks, but break traditional barriers. Imagination is often the only limitation.
