theatrewest sound academy presentSthe crucibleNovember 21 & 22 , 2008 West Sound Academy performs a nontraditional production of The Crucible. Arthur Miller's timeless allegory cuts to the heart with its revelations about the destructive power of fear, and the courage it takes to make a stand. When a society leaves no room for individual expression, neighbors are pitted against neighbors, mob rule is the order of the day, and a person's soul becomes a matter of public consumption. Please join us as thirty students from this small school take an artistic stand with this classic play. The two-hour production includes one intermission.
