The closing concert of BSO’s 2010-2011 Season celebrates the youthful genius of Mozart, Haydn, and Beethoven – composers who revealed their talent at an early age. The program highlights works by these masters from early and late in their careers and features Susan Carroll performing Mozart’s Horn Concerto No. 3, and includes Thomas Monk, Ann Wright, Susan Scott, and Judith Lawrence as soloists in Haydn’s Sinfonia Concertante for violin, ‘cello, oboe, and bassoon.
