BPA has been entertaining Bainbridge Island and beyond for over 55 years and wouldn’t exist without the generous support of its friends, neighbors, community organizations, and local businesses. Tickets sales recover approximately 25% of our costs, and we rely on you to help fill the gap.

Your donations drive our creative efforts - Broadway-inspired productions, original works, Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra, community collaborations, and enriching Theatre School programs. For five and a half decades, your efforts have honored artists and nourished the arts in our community.

Targeting your support to our Operating Fund helps us to “illuminate the lights,” while the Hot Dog Fund aids with capital improvements, and The Goodfellow Fund supports our classical music program. Other opportunities include matching gifts, corporate sponsorships, in-kind donations, and attending BPA’s FUNdraisers in December, January, and July (TBA).

Support BPA today by clicking on the “Donate Now” button above, or contact BPA at 206.842.4560. Make checks payable to Bainbridge Performing Arts, and mail to 200 Madison Avenue North, Bainbridge Island, WA 98110.

BPA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and all donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.

THANK YOU! Your generous and passionate advocacy keeps the performing arts alive in our community.

INDIVIDUAL GIVING
Ticket sales and other earned income cover just half of our operating expenses. This means we must raise the other 50% annually to deliver the kind of excellence on the stage and in our many programs for children, teachers, musicians, and aspiring and seasoned artists, that you -- and they -- have come to expect. Your membership is truly vital to our mission and financial well-being.

matching gifts

You can automatically double—or triple—the value of your contribution via your employer’s matching gift program. Your efforts will have a vibrant impact on the depth and breadth of our programming, plus, by matching your gift, you'll move to a higher giving level and enjoy additional benefits. Simply contact your Human Resources Department for a matching gift form (your spouse’s employer may also match your gift). Complete the form and mail it with your donation, payable to: Bainbridge Performing Arts, to 200 Madison Avenue North, Bainbridge Island, WA 98110.

In-kind Donations

We invite those involved in spring cleaning or office renovations to consider making an in-kind donation of material items to BPA. Items hidden in your attic or languishing on retail shelves may earn a new lease on life as part of a BPA production. Welcome items range from clothing to furniture to wall hangings to water-based paints, and much more. If you're concerned about whether the item has value for us, feel free to inquire at 206.842.1464. All in-kind donations are tax deductible.

Support Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra

The Goodfellow Fund for Bainbridge Performing Arts is dedicated to the support of BPA’s Classical Music Program. Anonymous founders generously created the fund in honor of Harry and Jean Goodfellow. To date, this special fund has made possible BPA’s purchase of rehearsal lights and the Yamaha piano, and it serves as the primary avenue for broadening and strengthening BPA’s Classical Music Program and the equipment and resources on which it relies. Contributions to The Goodfellow Fund may aid with purchases for the music library, a set of timpani (currently borrowed), or for light stands and more.

2011-2012 CORPORATE SPONSORSHIPS

By investing in BPA's Theatre, Music, Dance, Comedy, and Educational programs, these generous 2011 - 2012 contributors have helped ensure that quality performances will continue to thrive in our community. Consider partnering with us by becoming a sponsor. Contact BPA Managing Director Dominique Cantwell @ 206.842.4560.
